Issue #5 - Without this your business will fail...

While the creator economy is real and there are hundreds of thousands of people making a living doing what they love, the unfortunate truth, is that there are likely just as many struggling to even make their first dollar online. 

Today I want to share with you what I believe is one of the most important ingredients every creator and creator business must possess in order to succeed - alignment.

Alignment is inner, outer, and perceived congruence between who you are, the content you are creating, and the thing you are selling.

Without it, people won't trust you.

And without trust, people won’t want to engage with you, your content, or your offers. 

So how can you create alignment in your life & business?

Creating Alignment

Step #1 - Understand The 4 Ingredients That Makeup Alignment

• Proof - Proof that you can deliver - testimonials, results, and experience. 
• Congruence - You truly are who you say you are. 
• Expertise - You have mastered the thing you are selling. 
• Embodiment - You live the transformation you are selling.
  
  

Step#2 - Understand What Happens When You Don't  Have Them

• Proof - Without it, people won’t be able to verify that you are who you say you are. You are forcing them to take you up on your word.
• Congruence - Without it, it won't make sense why you sell what you sell. People won't trust you. 
• Expertise - Without it, you won’t be able to help people and eventually people will find out. 
  
• Embodiment - Without it, people will question your congruence and expertise. 

Step #3 - Develop Alignment Using The 4 Ingredients

• Proof - Help people. Document the journey. Document their success.
• Congruence - Be who you are. Shamelessly. Unapologetically. In public and behind closed doors.
• Expertise - Develop it. Become a true expert. Money is attracted to genuine value and true expertise.
• Embodiment - Don’t just sell or talk about the thing. Be the thing.
  
  

To illustrate here are two examples:

• Unaligned - An office worker, who builds an audience around entrepreneurship and sells a make-money-online offer when he's never sold anything online.
  
  
• Aligned - A fitness trainer, who is fit, has helped other people get fit, builds an audience around fitness, and sells a product on how to transform your body in 12 weeks.
