Issue # 49 - Darkness Is Always Followed By Light...

Happy Sunday!

This morning I brewed myself a nice cup of coffee and decided to flip through some old journal entries.

As I read over previous versions of myself I got to see a very clear pattern…

The pressure is strongest right before we're about to make a big leap forward and experience a breakthrough.

Think about it…

A diamond is formed under immense pressure.

A butterfly emerges from its cocoon after a grueling struggle.

A flower grows through the darkness of the soil before it reaches sunlight. 

And as I flipped through my journal entries I got to see that pattern in my life.

Times of darkness and uncertainty filled with thoughts like: 

“Will this work out?”

“Do I have it in me?” 

Where always followed with some sort of:

"Finally! There it is!"

The pages that followed the dark journal entries always reflected the gift of leaning in and dancing with the pressure.

So, if right now you are going through one of those moments, where you are doubting yourself and your ability to make it happen...

Know that the pressure you're feeling right now is simply a sign that you're on the right path.

Most people break before a breakthrough. 

But not you. Not today.

You are so close...
