Issue #19 - Entreprenuership & Self Care

Feb 12, 2023

You know what I've noticed about us - entrepreneurs?

We're often so busy chasing after success that we forget to take care of ourselves.

But from experience, let me tell you something...

If you care about crushing it in business, you should care about self-care.

That's why today I want to share some thoughts with you on the importance of self-care, especially on days like today - Sundays.

First off, let's define self-care.

Self-care is all about taking care of your physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

This means slowing down, resting, connecting with nature & people, and doing things that give you energy.

It's all about intentionally giving yourself the care and attention you need to be at your best.

Now, let's talk about Sundays.

This day of the week is the perfect time to slow down, reflect, and recharge your batteries.

If you are a type A personality like me, I know what you might be thinking...

"Weekends are for wimps! While others rest, I'll work and get ahead!"

I used to think like this.

That is until I realized that business is a marathon, not a sprint and this mindset is not sustainable in the long run.

Neglecting self-care is a surefire way to burn out and crash your business.

Taking care of yourself is not a luxury, it's a necessity.

So, make time on Sundays to take care of yourself.

Go for a walk, read a book, spend time with your family, or do whatever it is that makes you feel good.

Trust me on this one, you'll be doing yourself and your business a huge favor.

I myself will be spending the morning at the beach with my girlfriend, grabbing lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, and hanging out with good friends in the evening.

Slow down, to speed up.

That wraps this one up.

Rest up,

Abraham Casallas
